- Scope
This license applies to the original CDT HUD source code and documentation distributed with this file (the "Software"), to the extent that CDT owns or is authorized to license them. Third-party materials are excluded as set out in Section 5.
- Permissions
Subject to this license, you may, free of charge:
a. Download, copy, install and run the Software for your personal use, including on a FiveM server that you operate yourself. b. Read, study, modify and adapt the source code for that use. c. Share or publish unmodified or modified copies free of charge, including through public source repositories, provided that recipients receive this license and the same permissions and restrictions.
- No Resale
You may not sell, resell, rent, commercially license or otherwise charge for copies of the Software, any portion of it, or modified versions of it. This restriction includes:
a. Selling the Software under another name, brand or author attribution. b. Including the Software in a paid script, resource pack, server template, subscription download or other paid software bundle. c. Requiring payment, a mandatory donation or a purchase to obtain a copy of the Software or a modified version.
Modifying, translating, repackaging, compiling or obfuscating the Software does not remove these restrictions. Additional permissions require prior written authorization from CDT. No permission beyond the uses expressly listed in Section 2 is granted by this license.
- Attribution and Redistribution
Keep this license, the CDT copyright notice and applicable third-party notices with every redistributed copy or substantial portion of the Software. Clearly identify modifications and do not imply that CDT authored, approved or supports your changes. You may not remove or replace these restrictions when redistributing the original code or a modified version.
This license grants no right to use CDT names or branding to imply endorsement.
- Third-Party Materials
Third-party dependencies and assets remain subject to their own licenses. In particular, see docs/ATTRIBUTION.md for the minimap textures originating from qbx_hud. Nothing in this license replaces, restricts or expands permissions granted under an applicable third-party license. You must comply with those terms separately when using or redistributing those materials.
- Termination
The permissions granted by this license terminate automatically if you breach its conditions. Upon termination, stop using and distributing copies under this license unless CDT provides written permission to resume. Termination does not remove obligations or liabilities arising before it.
- Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. You are responsible for assessing, testing and backing up your installation before use.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CDT and the contributors are not liable for losses or damages arising from use, inability to use, modification or redistribution of the Software, including data loss, server interruption and lost revenue. Nothing in this license excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
- Reserved Rights
All rights not expressly granted are reserved. This is a custom license; it is not the MIT License or another standard unrestricted software license.
